Culp Is Speaking™ · Cohort III

Become a Certified Professional Speaker in One Day

The Culp Is Speaking Masterclass is a full-day immersive certification experience built on the Five Tenets of Professional Speaking. You'll learn the framework. You'll deliver a live Capstone Speech. And you'll walk out certified.

Most People Who Speak Were Never Trained to Speak

Think about it. Pastors preach every Sunday — most were never taught how to deliver a message that actually lands. Managers lead meetings and town halls — no one trained them to hold a room. Entrepreneurs pitch their business daily — they learned through trial and error. Consultants present strategies to C-suites — they're winging the delivery.

You're already speaking. You're just doing it without a system. And when you don't have a system, you rely on adrenaline, natural talent, and luck. Sometimes that works. Often, it doesn't. The message is strong, but the delivery falls flat. The content is solid, but the audience checks out.

You know you have something important to say — you just haven't been shown how to say it with precision, confidence, and authority. That's what this program fixes.

You're Not Just a Number Here

This isn't an auditorium seminar where you watch from the back. It's a small-group room — limited seats, real names, and real feedback. Terrance works the table, watches your delivery up close, and invests personally in your growth.

By the time you deliver your Capstone Speech, he knows your voice — your gaps and your breakthroughs. You walk out not just certified, but genuinely coached.

The Framework

The Five Tenets of Professional Speaking

This isn't a collection of tips. It's a framework — developed by Terrance L. Culp over 20+ years of national speaking experience — that covers every dimension of professional communication.

The 'Where Are You Today?' self-assessment slide showing all Five Tenets with 1–5 rating scales

The "Where Are You Today?" assessment — every participant rates themselves across all five tenets

1

Psychological

Master the mental game. Manage fear, build confidence, and develop the mindset of a professional speaker.

2

Physiological

Command your body and voice. Learn how posture, eye contact, vocal dynamics, and physical presence shape how your message is received.

3

Intellectual

Architect a message that lands. Structure content with clarity, logic, and intentional design so your audience follows you from the first word to the last.

4

Emotional

Move the room. Connect with your audience authentically — not through manipulation, but through genuine emotional intelligence and storytelling.

5

Spiritual

Speak with purpose. Ground your communication in calling, conviction, and the kind of authenticity that outlasts applause.

When you train across all five tenets, you don't just become a better speaker. You become a complete communicator.

The CPS Credential Is Earned, Not Given

Every participant delivers a Capstone Speech evaluated across all five tenets. This isn't a formality. It's the culmination of everything you've learned during the masterclass — applied in real time, in front of a real audience.

When you pass, you earn the Certified Professional Speaker (CPS) credential. You can use it on your bio, your website, your LinkedIn, your marketing materials, and your speaking proposals. It tells anyone who sees it: this person has been formally trained and evaluated as a professional communicator.

Carl Ingram Jr. entered Cohort II not knowing exactly what to expect. He showed up ready to learn, participate, and use his voice.

“I wasn’t sure what to expect, but knowing Pastor Terrance, I knew I was in for a treat!”

What Stayed With Him

Three ideas Carl identified from the Masterclass that stayed with him — in his own words.

01

Nothing can be created unless it is first spoken.

02

We have to stop holding our peace. We need to start talking and control our narratives.

03

Once a problem has been identified I am responsible for its solution.

Takeaways shared by Carl from his Masterclass experience.

“I am proud to announce that as of this past Saturday, I am officially a certified public speaker and ya boy has something to say!”

CPS Private Intensive gives you another option. A two-hour, one-on-one professional speaking development experience built around you — your voice, your goals, your challenges, and the rooms you're preparing to enter.

Bring me the speech. Bring me the sermon. Bring me the keynote. Bring me the presentation. Bring me the thing you know you're trying to say but haven't quite figured out how to communicate yet. We'll work.

Core CPS Instruction

Terrance draws from the same Certified Professional Speaker methodology used in the Masterclass — concentrated on the areas most relevant to you. Personalization, not a generic replay of the group curriculum.

Speech & Presentation Review

Bring a speech, keynote, sermon, presentation, workshop, pitch, or facilitation plan. Terrance provides direct feedback and coaching as part of the two-hour engagement. The review is part of the session — not unlimited editing or ongoing revisions afterward.

Virtual or In Person

Complete your Private Intensive virtually or in person by mutual arrangement. In-person location is agreed upon based on availability and logistics; any travel or venue considerations are confirmed before booking.

Scheduling Flexibility

Unlike the scheduled cohort, private clients can request dates and times that work with their professional and personal schedules — subject to Terrance's availability and mutual agreement.

"Because this experience is highly individualized, every Private Intensive begins with a brief inquiry. Tell me what you're working on, what you want to strengthen, and what you're looking for from private instruction. I'll personally review your request and respond within 24–48 hours."
